Kalle Ohlson is a Swedish viking who pillages rails and kickers instead of helpless villages on distant shores. Over the last few years Kalle has been locking in solid parts for the Pirates and this year apparently is no different. As the anticipation builds for this Friday's world premiere of the new film Bottom Line in IBK, we decided to corner Kalle and got the DL on what makes him tick.
When did you first strap in to your shred stick?
I think I was 7 years old or somewhere around that age.

What was your first snowboard and how did you get it?
It was one of those Rasta Vortex boards, it was a 150 (I was about 120 cm tall at the time, ha). I have 4 brothers and sisters, so my mom bought 2 boards for all of us to share. At that time I had the smallest stance possible, especially on that board but I still think I was rocking the widest stance on the whole mountain!


Which was the first snowboard VHS/DVD you ever watched?
The Revival by Kingpin Productions, on VHS.

Whose film part did you first froth over and inspired you to shred?
Chad Otterstrom in The Revival.


Where was the first time you got drunk and how old were you?
In the town I grew up, Örebro. I was 14. Me and some friends each got hold of a 6-pack of  “people's beer” (3,5%), took our bikes out into the woods, started a bonfire and got drunk. Good times!

Was your first time with a woman special?
Nope! I remember that I was expecting it to be sooo much better than jerkin' off, but once I got in there I´m like, "is this what I´ve been longing for so much?" Even though now, just like everybody else, I got addicted to it.

What was the last thing you did for the first time?
I´m not gonna mention her name… Haha!

What's the most memorable part YOU filmed and why?
Probably my part coming out this season with the Pirates! Basically because it´s been a super fun winter, with tons of things happening. I was snowboarding lots, travelling and basically everything that revolved around shredding!

Which film and whose part are you most looking forward to this year?
Hmmm. I guess it has to be Travis Rice in his own movie The Art of Flight. I mean you know there will be gnarly shit in there that makes you think you’re a little pussy yourself! Ha!
