Two weekends ago in Kleinwalsertal, Austria, Crystal Ground hosted the Jib Days III. This year the "ladies only" event, coined by the hard work duet Gaia Giacomazzi and Carmen Barraco, brought together girls from all over the shredosphere. These aren't ladies that were worried about Sochi or the European Open, they are jibbers, the best around, riding with up and comers. There was no boys, no budget and unfortunately no sun but the girls still had a great time. All the languages in the book could be heard in between muching vegetarian burgers. We practiced foreign languages and and made new friends. Plain and simple this weekend was about snowboarding with the girls...and food!
Simultaneously looking good and badass is something only these women know how to do. The purpose was just a chilled session but congrats to Dina Treland, who came all the way from Norway, to take home the Best Sponsored rider of the weekend and to Laura van der Have, from Holland, who took Best Nonsponsored, rider. Sponsors look out for these ladies!
