Nine Queens Gallery

So here are the some words in the form a poem that explain what basically happened the 29th of March in the Mottolino Fun Mountain in Livgno when they choose the queen...

In the last of winter days
came 10 girls from different reigns
in Livigno and holy cas†le
which to build was an handmade hustle
here to debate for the world to see
which one claim the best to be
and in the highest place now stands
Elena Koenz from the Swiss lands
that with a Melon Frontside 7
became the Queen of snow white heaven.

Anyway, after this past weekend at the Suzuki Nine queens presented by O'Neill I returned with a mound of good memories. The set up was colossal and shaped to the utter most precision, the girls were super motivated, up on the hill and down in the valley and snowboarders and skiers happily co-existed on one park. The riding level was at its best. Props to Isabel Derungs (SUI) and Klaudia Meldova (SVK) for their steezy backside rodeos and cheers to Charlotte Van Gils (NED) who drove us crazy with her frontside 1080 attempts, not yet stomped but she is getting to it soon. Unfortunately, as tradition demands, there must be only one queen, so, bow low to her majesty, the queen, Elena Koenz from Switzerland.
