Visit the link HERE to view the new site. The biggest change in the new site came about because of a little known fact, a black screen saves energy. Last year's site was predominantly white so before we did any development of the new site the decision was made to go black.
Black saves energy because the screen is predominantly black. "Image displayed is primarily a function of the user's color settings and desktop graphics, as well as the color and size of open application windows; a given monitor requires more power to display a white (or light) screen than a black (or dark) screen." Roberson et al, 2002
In an effort to do as much as we can to focus on "Better Ecology, Through Better Quality" not only are we saving riders money by building boards that last longer but we are also saving them money and battery life on their electronic devices.
We are most definitely excited to introduce our new logo look and much more positively focused "OK." campaign as well as the new line of products.
New for 2015 we have introduced the Future Freeride Series that is focused on blurring the lines between the backcounrty and in bounds terrain riding with board models like the Jetson which perform exceptionally well from powder to groomers as well as park and pipe riding.
With the massive success of the Awesymmetrical men's model last year we decided to develop a women's specific model dubbed the Fawesymmetrical (female Awesym) which uses the same engineering principals of the award winning Awesym but in a female specific set of engineering factors.
