2016 Vans Hi-Standard Series

Having already laid down some style from Canada to Korea, the Vans Hi-Standard reaches the former Olympic Village of Chamrousse, France, on February 20th.

After being absent from the French Alps for a couple of seasons, the Vans Hi-Standard is back with bang, awarding cash for tricks in a famously fun format that champions style and creativity above all else: no rotations over 720 are allowed.

The Vans Hi-Standard is an Open Comp, so just rock up and register: all are welcome, and there are €7.000 up for grabs, so don’t hold back! Bringing together both Big Air and Rail Jam formats, the Vans Hi-Standard will be dishing out Van Doren Dollars to those who impress the judges with style, creativity and inventive tricks. In addition, accolades for ‘Worst Bail’ and ‘Most Improved’ will also be given; ensuring everyone who steps up has a stab at the cash.

If you’re not riding, Chamrousse is known for being snow-sure and sunny, so come along, watch the comp, enjoy the good vibes and eat a few waffles. There’ll be some of the Vans Snow Team on hand to high-five and shred with, rad music and a bunch of other stuff going on, so be sure to join us on the hill.
