Austria’s Anna Gasser (AUT), fresh back from injury, not only won the big air contest, but impressed by stomping a backside 900 on her one warm up day, then landed a double cork 1080 after the contest. Sarka Pancochova (CZE) and Anna “Panka” Gyarmati (HUN) were firing up on the kicker along with Kjersti Ostgaard-Buaas (NOR). In addition to putting 100% into her riding and landing massive tricks such as a frontside 1080, Buaas inspired and supported fellow riders and newcomers, embodying the camaraderie of this event. “It’s so touching to see that there are so many riders coming up and very humbling to see that I can have an impact on their progression.” She also mentioned the importance the event has had on women’s skiing and snowboarding exclaiming, “I love this event!”
