ThirtyTwo Euro team update

Hey winter lovers and snowflake addicts. Winter in Europe is coming closer and closer, so we are crossing our fingers to get buried with snow this year. In the meantime I have some news from our European ThirtyTwo team:

November 7th is Danny Larsen's birthday. Happy birthday Danny! He will be heading to Paris this weekend for another Pirate's "Walk the Plank" premiere and of course to celebrate his birthday. After that, it's study time for another week, then he will hopefully have the chance to get some snow under his board. He already had his first session last weekend in Norway with Ståle Sandbech - our favorite ThirtyTwo Euro grom in Kirkerud, Norway.

Slovenia's Matevz Pristavec went to Hintertux for some early season glacier riding. The conditions were really good with hard takeoff's and slushy landings. But then winter kicked in and it became quite icy. After that he had a team photo-shoot with Elan. Then he traveled from Hintertux to Slovenia, back to Tux and then to Dachstein for his last day. They were quite lucky with the weather and were able to get some good shots. Matevz will be heading to Sweden mid-November to compete at the Winter-Jam Big Air contest in Stockholm.

Heppu Pentti just got back from a trip to Portugal. He went surfing and enjoyed the waves, sun and his new surfboard. This weekend, Heppu will attend the Slammer Gala and Board Expo - which is a guarantee for good parties. After that he plans on going riding and doing some photo-shoots to test the new Icon Boards. He is also just about to release a new album with his band Rad Natas. www.myspace.com/radnatas . And check out Heppu's chewing gum: www.sheriffi.com . The best chewing gum in the world.

Miikka Hast went to Hintertux in October with the Finnish mafia. They had good conditions and a great time while there. He also got to spend a couple precious nights at home before heading off to Ruka, Finland for their resort opening day. Unfortunately the weather was terrible and they had to close the resort for a while. The Board Expo was in Helsinki last weekend, so he popped on down south again. The event was fun with lots of "Hello's and what up's", like always. Now the rain has turned into snow in Lapland and Miikka hopes to get some fresh snow in Ruka.

Switzerland's Nicholas Wolken is getting settled into his new home in Innsbruck and has started studying at the university. He spends most of his free time in Hintertux and just recently went on a photo-shoot with Playboard Magazine.

Mario Käppeli just got some screws removed from his hand, which have been there for quit a while. Mario will be headed to Sweden for the FIS Big Air Contest that will be held in Stockholm during the Winter Jam.

After his trip to the Mondial Du Snow, Remi Lamazouere is heading to Paris for a photo-shoot with Rip Curl. Then, he might head to Hintertux, Austria for some park riding, or maybe to Breckenridge to warm up for the season.

Jakob Wilhelmson is heading to Canada for a lifestyle shoot November 10th-15th. He is crossing his fingers for some snow to ride while there. After that, he'll be staying in Sweden for a bit to ride his home resort.

Martin Sandberg is home in Sweden and getting ready for the first snow. It has gotten cold up north already but hasn't snowed, so he will wait and hope for the best.

Simon Schweiger just had the same fate as Mario and got some screws taken out of his collarbone. He is now back on his board and enjoying the first snow in Austria's mountains. thirtytwo.com
