The world's best female riders, including the 06/07 TTR Women's Top 5, are ready to tear up the Roxy Glacier Park located 2900m above sea level. The Kitzsteinhorn Glacier in Kaprun, Austria hosts the first all-girl SIX(6)STAR event of the 07/08 Swatch TTR World Snowboard Tour, the European Roxy Chicken Jam. The event takes place on the 14th, 15th and 16th of December offering 1000 ranking points and a €30 000 Euro prize purse.

06/07 World Nr. 6 Jenny Jones (GBR) will be carrying her momentum from the southern hemisphere after claiming the FIVE(5)STAR Burton New Zealand Open Title for slopestyle. She now sits at World Nr. 4 and will be the only female rider who can grab hold of the World Nr. 1 spot, which is currently held by Olympic Gold Medalist Kelly Clark (USA). Jones will have to place 1st in Kaprun, earning 1000 ranking points to put her ahead of Clark who is not competing in Kaprun. Jones, however, will stay in the Swatch TTR Top 5.

06/07 World Nr. 2 and currently holding the World Nr. 5 position on the tour at just 17 years-of-age, Jamie Anderson (USA) will be looking to defend her European Roxy Chicken Jam Title after dominating at last season's competition. Anderson will be battling for the World Nr. 2 spot alongside 06/07 TTR Champion Torah Bright (AUS), Jenny Jones, Leanne Pelosi (CAN) and local slopestyle specialist Claudia Fliri (AUT) who had eight Top 10 results in her last Ten TTR events.

Last season's Roxy Chicken Jam gave witness to incredible progression for female snowboarding as riders like Jamie Anderson, 05/06 TTR Champion Cheryl Maas (NED) and Jenny Jones, who all took podium last year, stomping smooth, technical tricks such as Cab 540s, huge BS 720s, McTwists and epic Backside Airs. Having already received 2.2m of snow, the Roxy Glacier park allows the possibility for 10 different lines through a multitude of features including a triple kicker line, a 7m high Quarterpipe, a Wallride and a creative array of curved, flat and kinked boxes and rails.

Friday is open for female riders to compete and qualify for 5 spots in Saturday afternoon's 30-rider, 2-hour Jam session. Only 8 girls will move on to the finals where you can expect the most stylish performances from the top riders of the day hoping to make the podium and increase their tour ranking.
