Every year, The Big Day Out Experience places Val d'Isere under a week-long spell of Snowboarding, Music, Mountains, Food and Culture. The Festival began in 1996 and has grown to what it is today, a huge festival boasting around 15,000 spectators each year, rocking the heart of the French Alps.

The event mesmerizes Val d'Isere for four whole days with nonstop entertainment. On the slopes there can be seen some of the worlds best freestyle Snowboarders and Skiers, doing tricks that most of us only dream to be possible. Listen to great music, sample some of the finest food and beverages. The event doesn't stop there however, as by night in the town there are some of the hottest live acts and great parties to be attended. Artists you could never expect to find in the French Alps.

The 2008 Big Day Out once again promises to pull out all the stops and be a week not to miss. The Action runs from the 3rd to the 6th of March, building up to the night finals and concert on the 6th of March. The Final night's Music opens with an hour long set from Stanton Warriors straight into the Super Finals of Snowboarding and Skiing contest and finishes off with 90's rap phenomenon CYPRESS HILL, who have not played in France for many years. So buy your tickets fast as places are limited.
