A normal Friday night usually consists of a) going to the bar, getting smashed, maybe losing your pants; b) staying in, watching some brain-dead reality TV show of either people singing to become the next one-second wonder or people buying/restoring houses you’ll never be able to afford; or c) sleeping, eating, wanking, delete as applicable.
However, last Friday night, Method took option D, spending the evening checking out/gawping at some of the best photography from the last 25 years of snow shralping from such renowned shutterbugs as Mark Gallup, Calle Eriksson, Vincent Skoglund, Bud Fawcett and last, but by no means least, Frode Sandbech. With the likes of Terje Haakonsen, Dani "Kiwi" Meier, David Pitschi, Tomi Toiminen and many others in attendance, the Boite Noire Art Gallery in Biarritz was bustling with people keen to party and mingle with the Sprocking Cat, plus feast their eyeballs on some damn snazzy photos too. We drank lashings of beer and Arrogant Frog wine, and chowed down on delicious cupcakes from Cupcake Folie whilst basking in the glow of some seriously cool photography and photographers.
Thanks to Volcom and La Boite Noir Art Gallery for making this happen! Thanks to Ines from Cupcake Folie for all the yummies.
