Alvaro Blogel: Prosecco

Hello everyone,

Last week I went to Italy for the Drake/Northwave sales meeting. There I met a lot of cool people working for Drake and Northwave and I had the chance to check out all the new products…the collection looks amazing!!!

The good thing about having a sales meeting in Italy is for sure the food. We had amazing dinners, good pizzas, lasagne, tasty coffee and really good wine, prosecco and grappa.

One evening we had the chance to visit Villa Sandi in Valdobbiadene. This area is renowned for the production of prosecco. The villa was built in 1622 in Palladian-style and now is the headquarters of the Sandi’s company. The basement of the villa is something crazy, there are plenty of galleries with bottles of prosecco everywhere. They told us that in the basement there are more than 1,500,000 bottles waiting to be sold.
