The US Marines have a motto: "Semper Fidelis". Snowboarding doesn't have one, but it could be "Have Fun". Fun sits high on the list of priorities for most snowboarders. The word fun has also been repeated in interviews, ads and catalogs ad nauseum throughbut the years. You could almost call it propaganda. But propaganda and brain washing can be good things if used to fight the good fight. In this day and age, fraught with slim budgets and Olympic training regimens, riders have had to take the "fun" factor down a notch or two. But fear not, fun-loving snowboarders of the world, Academy is here to save the day! This board is a reminder to every crying kid with cold hands and blasé I'm-so-over-it park monkey to have some good old-fashioned fun on the hill.
And this baby's shape is more fun than a curvy blonde. The Propaganda is the softest men's board in the Academy 10/11 line, which means you can throw this thing around like a rag doll. It's basically the softest noodle in the pasta bowl. You will be able to flip the bonk game upside down, break the barrier of what is possible in the streets and rearrange the park in ways it was never meant to be. Peep Ryan Tarbell on the Propaganda strip down this park with more ease than your local hoochie momma in this episode of Sunday In the Park:
With Sandwich/Sidewall Construction, Extruded 2000 Base, WDT Hybrid Core (Carbon Synthetic & Aspen/Spruce Wood), this Austrian-built twin tip is what you need to get sweet in the streets, punk in the park and win the fight with gravity. Believe you me, the Propaganda will let you have all sorts of fun and fantastical moments of awesome incredibleness.
Depending on what amount of pop you want under your pods, you can either grab a reverse camber with squared-off tips for extra butter power in 149, 152, 156 or else a tried and true regular cambered version with classic tongue depressor style in 145, 150, 153, 155, 158.
Check the blunted tips on the reverse camber version, "good for tailblocks that last all night long".

Have FUN, kids! academysnowboards.com
