K2 snowpark Freestyle Area Vitkovice in Krkonose will held the 7th year of snowboard jibbing contest Horsefeathers King of Jib on Saturday March 3rd 2018. The main program of this event will be, as always, creative setup of hurdles, unique system of the contest and most importantly, relaxed atmosphere with the goal to enjoy snowboarding in its full beauty.

The prices will not only include prizemoney of 10.000 CZK, but also valuable prices from partners of this event in amount exceeding 40.000 CZK. The part of the contest will also be besttrick contest on chosen hurdle and the biggest progressor will be granted with a whole-year pass to Vitkovice for the next season 2018/19.

The system of contest this year is set up with regard on minimum stress on competitors, maximum use of the whole Horsefeathers King Jib setup created by 3 competition lines and least but not last, clear and fair rating from judges. The competitors will compete in a form of jam, where the riders will be divided in separate heats and the time allowance for each line will be discussed on riders meeting, considering amount of registered contestants in each cathegory. 

Fair rating will be looked upon by 3 experienced judges and there will be following cathegories: women (amateurs and professionals with no age limit), open (amateurs with no age limit), pro (professionals with no limit). Registration will take place in skibar Oddechoff in upper part of the snowpark and starting fee is 100 CZK. To register, it is needed to own valid snowpark pass. Each registered competitor will get two Redbull cans as present to boost the energy.
