Once again it was time for the Death Label family to participate in the realest of all snowboard events, Snowboy Productions' Holy Bowly! This time it took place on the legendary and beautiful Timberline Ski and Snowboard Area on Mt.Hood, Oregon on the 7th until the 12th of May.
The 6th annual Holy Bowly had brought together about 200 invited riders and members of the snowboard industry to shred the world’s biggest transitional snowboard park to pieces, for 6 days straight.
Rippers like Halldor Helgason, Jake Kuzyk, Chris Roach, Russell Winfield, Zebbe Landmark, Yusaku Horii, Måns Hedberg, Oliver Dixon, Sean Genovese, Deadlung, Kevin Bäckström, Mike Ravelson, Scott Stevens, Maria Thomsen, Colin D. Watt, Chris Beresford, Sage Kotsenburg and Stale Sandbech were all in the mix just to name a bunch.
From Death Label the guys that were lucky enough to get an invite were PJ Gustafsson, Yuzi ”Ton” Azuma, Curren Weber, Tomofumi Ishikawa and the boss himself, Takafumi Okawa. Andrew Brewer was also invited but unfortunately he fucked up his knee real bad just a couple of weeks before the bowly.
This invite only event never disappoints! It sure lives up to all the hype and for any rider lucky enough to be invited to the Holy Bowly, at least one of your snowboard dreams come true.
Instead of going on about telling you about what an insane and epic week the whole Death Label crew had, how sick the riding was, all the crazy partying, toking blunts with the homies and why Holy Bowly is the best event in snowboarding, we will let you look at some of the stuff that went down here...
Huge thanks to Krush and family for having us again and to all who helped bring this event to life, Snowboy productions, Arena Snowparks, Timberline Resort, all the sponsors, Pistenbully, Libtech, Monster energy, all the riders and everyone who helped dig and rake. You all rule!
