I Know What You Did Last Summer Pt. II

So here is another round of digital postcards from some of your favorite professional boarders showing what they've been up to, from boarding to getting surgery, fishing, mushroom hunting, shooting guns and more. We get a big buffet of images and words from the likes of Nico Müller, Danny Larsen, Denis Leontyev, Flo Achenrainer, Niels Schack, Toni Kerkelä, Sebi Müller and Cees Wille. Enjoy and get ready for winter! (well, right after we get through the fall and a whole bunch of corrugated tube riding...) Oh and peep part 1 if you missed it.

"This summer I went on a few roadtrips with my new posession. It's a car and not that important, but it makes me feel good. The road is the journey so let's do it with class and safely. I made it all the way up to Hamburg. Did a lot of skating then headed west to Biarritz for the Atlantic Soccer Cup. I wanted to surf as well but I couldn't even walk to the beach after kicking the ball for three days straight. Anyway, back home in Laax I was enjoying some quality time outside, hanging out at some of my favorite lakes: Lake Cauma and Lake Cresta. Love them and will only trade them for some waves here and there."Setting up a new deck up in front of the new whipSwitch front board in HAM-burgAll is calm at Lake CaumaFeel the base!Danny Larsen
"Let's see, my summer was a bit different this year. Instead of sitting on my ass all day waiting for my friends to get off work, I decided to make myself useful to society instead. So I got a summer job at the county housing office, helping less fortunate people get a roof over their heads, and aiding them with other housing-related problems. Since it's a bureacratic job, I get off at three o'clock and get to do other fun summer stuff, like drawing, skating, cooking, spear fishing, scuba diving or running. Yup, that's right, I'm actually into running these days. Just the other day I ran 18km hungover like a Norwegian after payday, not a recommended training technique by the way."Hello, Danny Larsen speaking, how may I help you with your housing needs?Getting Neolithic. "I tore my ACL back in March and all I did was work out 24/7 and think about getting back on my board ASAP. I headed to Bali with my girlfriend Dasha and some homies for one month in May, but we ended up staying there for 2 months (it's so cheap, duh). I couldn't go surfing or skateboarding or anything fun like everyone else, which sucked big time, but I enjoyed the scenery anyway.

When I got back to Russia the doctors told me I was ready to start shredding! So I went to Mt. Hood in Oregon with Dasha again and was stoked to catch the last Windells session, where we filmed some new stuff for an edit. Next we kicked it in SoCal with a couple of friends and enjoyed some really nice weather. Now I'm heading back to Moscow, where we're having a WeAre2012 premiere on September 8th!"

"This summer I got kicked out of Hate Cascade because the head digger Mr. McDonald is too serious about snowboarding. Otherwise, summer was full of camp fires with my brothers and sister, dance parties and Dutch ovens, I also had a lot of fun with burning couches and propane tanks in our driveway."

"This summer has been real nice. I went to Sweden on a little road trip across the country, we went kayaking across some lakes, saw some pretty amazing wildlife. Also went to this festival in France for 4 days, camping in the rain but it was amazing. Otherwise, it's been pretty much skating back here in Geneva, working for Ero One's new video and messing with the cat."Niels is such a hippieMesstival!Cats + toilet paper = good times. "We had the KBR private movie premiere in Jyväskylä, and the day after we went to pick some mushrooms and berries. Petrus made some delicious soup from the mushrooms. Here are some photos from that messy day in the woods. Perfect weekend! Sami Luhtanen swam across that swamp lake."'Shroom Hunters!

"At the beginning of the summer I went on a Deeluxe trip to Sölden. We were camping in the woods and hiked the closed glacier area, shredded some of the stickiest slush ever. It was good fun and a great way to start the summer. For the most part, I went skating, took daytrips to several parks around the area. Meanwhile I was busy in my studio drawing and printing. Just stuff I won't have time for during winter."(f)Art! "We started PAD LIVIN' (toad livin'), that's how we do... Lazy, doing nothing & just chilling. It's a joke, we say it to someone if he's not trying anything at the spot, like if they are just afraid to do a trick. No heavy words like fuck or cancer or whatever. Bring some fun with words. Not really though, what we did this summer was hang out on the Tour du Glace! We were wake(snow)boarding down the hills in Italy and France and Swizzi and Austria. We stayed in every town for longer than 2 days, except Saas-Fee. Having to pay 62 euros for a day of snowboarding was making us physically ill, so we left there real quick, so quick we coudn't even make an edit of it! Shitty. Oh, and Dachstein is the place to be! The park there is awesome."
