On a proud day for Forum Snowboards it was announced last night that Peter König will be riding in the Air & Style Rookie Contest in Munich on Dec. 2nd. It has been a busy few weeks for Peter travelling from the Frontline Rail Jam in Stockholm where he got in the final in a field full with Scandinavia's best rail riders... He was then off to Mondial in Les Deux Alpes with team mate Kareem El Rafie before joining up with Daniel Ek and Youngblood Ethan Morgan for the Pow Wow Rail Battle.
He got through to the final even having to battle against his own team mates on the way through..... Without a moment to rest Peter was then packed in a Mercedes and headed for Vienna for the Red Bull Drive By Tour involving 6am wake up calls and rail sessions with Max Legende and Darrel Matthes so he was in good company. With a few days riding on Hintertux in between to get warmed up for the Air & Style Peter is stoked to have the opportunity to ride with some of the worlds best.
In what has been a amazing year for Peter he has already won the European Youngblood series, rode in the Transworld Team Challenge for Forum, got signed up to the Global Youngblood team following in the footsteps of Pat Moore and Travis Kennedy, ridden in just about every country in Europe on his travels and even been filming with isenseven in Colorado... and he only just turned 18.
This season Peter will be riding at events in Europe, filming with isenseven and making steps towards filming with the Forum Global team all with his own "way too easy" trademark style and riding the Grudge 156 Lauri or the Destroyer 154 Peter Line, the Kicker Lauri, V2.2 Platfom Croc binding, the Unit Jacket and the Division pant in Kelly Green alongside the LRG/Special Blend Collabaration outfit.
