Summer Jam, the biggest rookie tour for snowboarders and freeskiers, will happen on June 30 and July 01,2007. At this session, the best riders will qualify for the finals of the Snowpark Tour 2008 which will also take place at Kitzsteinhorn. The Snowpark Tour offers the recipe for the summer withdrawal symptoms of all snowboarders and freeskiers. Instead of dreaming of the snow athletes will rock the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier Park at the first ever summer tour stop of the Snowpark Tour.

Kitzsteinhorn Glacier Park at Kaprun will open just for the Snowpark Tour. Snowboarders and freeskiers will show their skills on a double kicker line with two hits each and a rail line with several rails and boxes. The schedule places the freeskier fight for victory on Saturday, June 30, and the snowboarder's battle on Sunday, July 1.

The contest will be held in a jam session format: During the session all riders are allowed to do as many runs as they want. This way, athletes don't need to risk everything in one or two runs. Winners will take home non-cash prizes. and the best four snowboarders of the Summer Jam will be invited to the tour finals. The overall best three snowboarders will be invited to the TTR 2007 Bootcamp. The winner of the women's snowboard contest will also be invited to the Snowpark Tour finals and to the TTR 2007 Bootcamp.
