The italian and international snowboard street season will be opened again by another Rail Battle, the third edition, the SPY Rail Battle.
The sport association Apoclaypse[s]now for the third year will build in the exact center of Varese, a city in the north of italy near swiss border, "THE" Rail Battle, the only one with 4 rails and only pro riders invited for the occasion.
Some of the best athletes in the world will come to fight for a first place prize money of 4.000€ on Saturday the 13th of october from 3pm to 11pm. During this time there will be not only snowboard but also live music, djs exhibition, time for meeting riders and more. As every year the idea of Apocalypse[s]now is to use only urban elements to make snowboarding a more "street" sport.
This year the important help of Spy Optic ( www.spyoptic.com ) and MpConcept ( www.mpcon7.com ) will make the contest be really bigger and higher of every past year, of every past rail contest in italy. The only idea of Apocalypse[s]now is to create every year a better contest to promote the snowboarding scene not only on the mountains.

In the past two years the winner was Iouri Podlatchikov but this year we created a riders list with names like Danny Larsen, Morgan Le Faucheur, Silvain Monney, Michi Zirngibl, Basti Kuhn, Stefan Maurer and other little "big" guys from all over the world that will fight for the podium and will fight with the "zar" !. Now it's time for the riders to take the boards and ride!
