Crepel invitational first TTR comp in France

From February 7 to 9, the Mathieu Crepel Invitational will be the first TTR World Championship event to be held in France and more accurately in the Pyrenees Mountains. I have received the agreement of all my sponsors, and particularly from Quiksilver that will support this new event for at least three years as the main sponsor. We will be using a ski springboard built in 1936 in the Ayré Forrest on the Tourmalet Domain as the main module for a Slopestyle event. Some of the best riders will gather and challenge each other in a revolutionary contest format. The format has been called the "MC trick list". It imposes a set trick list to be achieved by the riders. Upon their arrival, the riders will choose two of their favourite tricks. Noted on paper, the answers will be added to a dispenser. The judges will then draw the answers to create a list of five tricks that will be ranked from easiest to hardest. In the contest, the riders will have to perform the tricks one after the other. The judges will quantify amplitude and trick cleanliness in order to select he best riders for a super final of best tricks. This innovative contest format will allow the public to better understand freestyle snowboarding specificities, and the riders to compare their styles on identical maneuvers. I am welcoming you to come to this unique event at the Tourmalet Domain from 7-9th February 2008.The best moments of the event will be posted right here on www.quiksilver-europe.com to help understand the amazing world of freestyle snowboarding.Keep Riding, Mat
