Snowboard legend Terje Haakonsen, founder of the Ticket To Ride World Snowboard Tour, has been nominated for 2007 Citizen of the Year. He's in heavy contention with a bunch of old guys and some other citizens of Oslo Norway, the town in which the vote is concentrated, so support for Terje is crucial.

He is being nominated for his accomplishments in snowboarding including the organization of the prestigious Arctic Challenge as well as the success of his local organic bakery "Korn" in Oslo. Currently he is sitting 5th in a field of eight nominees and there has been over 9000 votes already. Voting only lasts for a short while so every snowboarder needs to click on the link below to vote, and support Terje in possibly the most important poll ever.
