The boys are back with another banging collection of outerwear, apparel and accessories for Beyond Medals Winter 26! Apparently it's their biggest offering to date, so there are plenty of options to find your perfect kit for the season.

We caought up with Tor and Kevin to find out a little more about this latest collection and understand a little better how they manage to be insanely stylish and talented snowboarders, shooting epic snowboard movies every year (not to forget editing them too, and not to forget producing and staring in those world class intros...) so we asked a couple questions, and this is what they said...

Now you’re a good few years into outerwear production. How are you guys finding it and what are you learning the most?

TOR:

This is our fourth full outerwear collection now. In the beginning everything was new and we were basically learning by doing. We still are, but now we have a good team around us and understand the process a lot better.

I think the biggest learning is how much goes into making something that looks simple. Fit, fabrics, details, production. changing one small thing can affect ten other things.

KEVIN:

An idea on a computer and a good snowboard product are two very different things. Something can look great on screen and then the sample arrives and the pocket is wrong or the jacket just doesn’t sit right.

We understand that process better now, but we’re still learning every season. The riders help a lot too. Usually the best feedback comes from someone riding a sample and telling us what doesn’t work.

What were your go-to personal choices from this collection? 

TOR:

For me it’s the Pro Tech Jacket with the X Pants. I like technical outerwear, but still want it to have the right fit and not look too technical. The Pro Tech has everything I need and the X Pants are probably my favorite pants we’ve made.

*WILL (Method): Agreed! Also my kit set up from last season and it was fire!

KEVIN:

I’ve been riding in the Retro Anorak a lot this past season, i like the orange colorway for filming in Japan since its almost always snowing and whiteout.

Who’s behind the design of the collection? Do you take on specific roles? Are there any lesser known contributors that really make the magic happen?

TOR:

Kevin and I have always done everything together, but over time we’ve naturally ended up with different roles. Kevin is more hands-on with design. I spend more time on the bigger picture and whatever needs attention.

It’s very much a team effort though. Greta, our buyer, and Cicci, our garment constructor, are a huge part of turning the ideas into actual products. Jonas runs the daily operations and the riders are involved throughout the process too.

KEVIN:

Tor and I usually start by talking about what we want and what we feel is missing. I work more on the actual designs, then Greta and Cicci help turn them into something we can make.

Cicci deserves a lot of credit because I can say something like “make this bulk go away” and somehow she fixes it. Then the crew rides the samples and tells us what doesn’t work.

Where does the design and inspiration come from to collate your collection?

TOR:

There isn’t really one theme. It’s mostly whatever we’re into at the time.  Snowboarding, skating, old outerwear, workwear, streetwear, traveling and what people around us are wearing.

Everyone in the crew has a different style, which naturally pushes the collection in different directions while hopefully still feeling like Beyond Medals.

KEVIN:

I save an insane amount of random stuff from instagram and pinterest. I also try and look at old snowboard gear and vintage clothing in general. Sometimes the inspo comes from just seeing someone wearing something cool on the streets and then I try and mock it up in illustrator.

With no movie coming out this fall, what are you going to fill all that downtime with that you’d usually be busy on premiere tours?

TOR:

Somehow there is no downtime anyway. Haha. We decided to make the next snowboard movie over two years instead of one. It takes away some of the pressure to finish everything by autumn and lets us be more patient with trips and filming.

There’s plenty happening with Beyond Medals in the meantime, and I have a 10 months old son. But hopefully I’ll get some more time to snowboard too.

KEVIN:

There is no downtime whatsoever haha. This summer has been amazing though, as i could spend more time working on the clothing instead of doing that and chopping up the movie at the same time.
