Location: New Zealand
Rider: Alex Beer
"With most of SnowPark NZ made from artificial snow and a lack of natural snowfall, there wasn't much scope for natural spots this winter in New Zealand. But Alex has a bit of an eye for these things and is happy to spend 5-plus hours shoveling to make a spot work, much to the curiosity of punters riding past. This step up shot took place just to the side of the SnowPark NZ jib line and most of the in-run was leftover cannon snow. After a few hits figuring out the correct speed and narrow in-run, and time running short with the light, Alex had some luck as one of the shapers gave him a few lifts up the hill on his snowmobile which gave Alex the time to stomp some FS3's in the evening sun."
