The Norwegian Snowboard Federation is proud to present the 4th Annual SnowboardAwards with the top snowboarders in the world today, and some old familiar faces to join in the celebration of our great sport.
The Awards will be held at Cosmopolite in Oslo on the 17th of October, starting at 7pm and riders like Kjersti Buaas, Torstein Horgmo, Mads Jonson and others will be there together with the whole Norwegian snowboard community.
The Norwegian Snowboard Federation has worked hard over the last few months to bring a high-end ceremony to show the world-class standard of riders in Norway, who compete both on the international stage with great results and on the domestic circuit. We will celebrate these men and women that have shown great progression and stamina to claim victories all over the world.
Roger Hjelmstadstuen, head coach for the national team said, "It's great fun working with the best riders in Norway, and helping them reach the last steps in becoming part of the world elite". Roger went on to say how cool it is to see the riders, industry people and general people gather to give each other a pat on the back: "It is the whole of Norwegian snowboarding that has put us on top of the snowboarding world, and that needs celebrating."
