At the Opening 2009 The Atomic Superpark Dachstein presented itself with powder snow and cold temperatures. These conditions made the park shredding possible only for a short time. Nevertheless the "Creme de la Creme“ of snowboarding met at the Atomic Superpark Dachstein on Saturday for the official opening and the community could get the first impressions of the new Set-up built by Bernd Mandlberger.

For what we all have to take our hat off (once again). Insider recognized that the Beginner Park was enlarged with two Boxes and we could also watch some futuristic Trick-Combos at the new Transfer-Gap-Snow Funbox. Because of the good snow conditions as well this year the highlight of the park, the corner, enjoyed lots of attention and is bigger than ever! With these extra-class elements, the Atomic Superpark Dachstein again will be a star within all the other summer-snowparks this year. Also this year the glacier restaurant was the place for many riders to talk about last season and the people enjoyed telling stories about their plans for the upcoming, exciting winter season. Also partying was an important part of the opening and so the crowd got together in Schladming’s nightlife to celebrate the opening and the coming season which goes till middle of July.

The Atomic Superpark Dachstein again offers obstacles for all riding-levels so every rider should find at least one element to shred and push the riding–level. If you are a beginner the beginner park is definitely the place to give park-riding a try. The weather for the next days should be more stable and so the next highlight is up to come... Once again it’s time for the legendary SuperStarSession. Beside the big names of the local Freestyle scene also international riders will be at the Atomic Superpark Dachstein in order to join the biggest PR Shooting in Wintersports and get together their coverage.

The prices of this year’s season-tickets are affordable again, and they are valid to 30th of November 2009, so when you get one, you already have your ticket for this year’s Horsefeathers Pleasure Jam from the 13th November until the 15th of November 2009. Where to stay at the Atomic Superpark Dachstein? With the start of the glacier snowboard season at the 30th of May the Rapture Snow Camp in Love opens its gates in Ramsau (Hierzegg 19) at the foot of the glacier road.
