On Friday 20th October the best 40 benelux riders were invited to rock on the biggest indoorkicker ever which was shaped by Snowworld and Burton teamrider Tijs Goosens. They all had a great time on it. The riders judged each other. Wouter de Lange, Anthony Smits and Joeri Jansen were showing the best tricks. After the sessions a lot off free drinks were served in theSnowworld bar. Dj's Hush and Baro Baro played great tunes and the riders showed that it is not important who your sponsor is. It is all about snowboarding and having fun.

 Burton Benelux Slopestyle
After the AM tour everybody could join the Burton Benelux slopestyle.
There was still al lot of energy left. More than 40 riders rocked the park. Because there are not that many possibilities to ride a good shaped big kicker everyday in the Benelux the organisation decided to hold the finals on the big jump. It was a very close race.
At the end Rocco van Straten won with a frontside 540, back flip and the winning switch backside 720. Steve Krijbolder was second with a backside 540, cab 540 and a cab 720. Joeri jansen was third with a switch backside 540, switch backside 180 and a backflip. Britte van der Pouw was the best female rider with a bs540. She even left a lot of guys behind her with that stylish jump. Mandy Langbroek was second and Dees Hetzenauer got third. After the competition some riders couldn"t get enough off it. Steve and Rocco showed that they were in good shape by jumping together with a backflip and a backside 540.

It was a kick ass event which never been held this way in the Netherlands. Snowboarding on its best. Good party, good music and a great vibe. Many thanks to Snowworld Landgraaf, Tijs Goosens, Jean Paul Vaele, Harry de Weijer and their Burton Benelux crew. Also big thanks to the BurtonAM crew and the riders ofcourse....
