TTR World Snowboard Tour Championship Race
In a grueling seven day event that saw home town hero, Chayne Southwell, hold out against an imposing international field to take out the first ever event on the TTR world Snowboard Tour, the TTR Four (4) Star Oakley Stylewars in Falls Creek, Australia. In doing so, Southwell takes the lead on the TTR World Snowboard Tour still under development Ranking System, making him the first ever TTR Tour Leader, followed by Internationally recognized Swede, Jacob Wilhelmson in second, Kiwi Jacob Kioia in third and equal placed fourth JJ Thomas (USA) and Austria big hitter Chris Kröll.
In a no holds barred event that saw riders match themselves against each other in rail jams, slopestyle and kicker sessions supported by a creative judging format that equated scores in order as points of the day, resulting in lowest overall score takes all. Southwell, leading into the final day was tested by Swede main man, Jacob Wilhelmson, Finish rippers Jakko Ruha, Juuso Laivisto and Austrian, Chris Kröll to hang on for the win in the 'Grand Master' session to take out final TTR World Snowboard Tour first placing.
The TTR World Snowboard Tour Ranking System is still underdevelopment with anticipated launch with in 6 weeks, however this historic win places Chayne Southwell as the first ever Tour Leader. The next scheduled TTR World Snowboard Tour event is the accreditied Six (6) Star Nokia Air&Style event in Münich, Germany.
