So a small introduction to the 2007/2008 European Youngblood Team
Ethan Morgan
Coming from Mittenwald, Germany, Ethan spent his formative years riding at Gap 1328 camp and honing his skills. Since joining us over a year ago Ethan has spent time in New Zealand, America, France, Austria and Germany travelling with friends and the German Olympic pipe team. He is growing quickly, developing style and is most well-known for his rail and kicker skills. He recently stomped frontside 1080s at the age of 15. Ethan represents Forum and Special Blend with tall Tees and the Travis Kennedy board his favourites.
Niki Korpella
Niki is from a small town called Oulunear Helsinki and spends his winter hitting icy kickers and winning contests across his homeland. This season Niki was rocking the Pleasure Jam, the team shoot and also a summer camp in Austria. Niki represents Forum and Foursquare and is real stoked on the Gold Label line and rides the youngblood 52.
Jan Scherer
Placing second at the Burton European Open pipe contest this year was just another day in the pipe for Jan, who regularly gets about three meters out of superpipes across Europe. He travelled nearly every weekend this season and is a machine in pipe and off kickers with backside and frontside 720s on lockdown at the age of 12. This summer he also finshed top three in the Swiss Skateboard Championship, and he represents head-to-toe Forum and Foursquare on snow and Foursquare streetwear when skating.
Sparrow Knox
You have probably seen Sparrow this season in Laax or Kaunertal going as fast as his mini youngblood 137 will take him to hit the biggest kickers parks provide him. If not, you might have seen him on MTV, Rad TV, Extreme Channel or the BBC where he has featured in Snowboarding and Skateboarding shows. Sparrow represents Forum and Special Blend and when skating is also wearing Special Blend streetwear. Sparrow spends his winters at events in Europe and getting onsnow time whenever possible. When at home in the UK he rides at the indoor slopes and even some dryslope inbetween skate sessions.
Jesse Augustinus
In Europe this season Jesse was at events such as the Austrian Rookie Challenge, European Open and youngblood events from his native Holland to Austria and Switzerland. Jesse gets to ride nearly 365 days a year at his home mountain of Landgraf, 10 minutes from his house where he has a season ticket and rides park every evening after school. He's the friendliest little guy who can talk every language and make everyone smile. His rail skills are amazing, and Jesse is also on his way to Les Deux Alpes for the Tarvana contest.
Sparrow, Jesse and Jan all shred the mini youngblood 137-145 to within an inch of its life everytime they strap in. forum-snowboards.com
