Freestylers to turn the Landiwiese upside down
From 22-24 September, the world's best in freestyle snowboarding, freeskiing, freestyle motocross (FMX) and skateboarding will turn Zurich' s Landiwiese upside down with their electrifying tricks. Along side breathtaking contests, Europe's largest freestyle sports event will provide a perfect platform for a meet & greet of top-notch names in the industry. In addition, over 70 exhibitors will display their latest freestyle products at the Label World trade fair. Advanced tickets are now on sale starting at CHF 16.- at StarTicket and RailAway.
From 22- 24 September, Zurich's Landiwiese will turn into a freestyle mecca as it makes way for the 12th annual meeting of world-class stars in freestyle sports. An expected 50,000 visitors will be there to cheer them on. Over $100, 000 in prize-money along with the coveted titles, «freestyle.champ» and «crossover.champ» await their recipients in a dazzling display of high-level competition in snowboarding, freeskiing, FMX biking and skateboarding. Snowboard stars place special emphasis on this kick-off event to the winter season, which provides a breeding ground for new tricks and jumps.
Last year's one-foot back flip by Marc-André was a prime example. This audacious Canadian can also be witnessed at this year's gathering.
Multifaceted Freestyle Arena freestyle.ch kicks off the winter season for those in the freestyle scene and provides the ideal industry platform for a meet & greet. Due to growing interest, the Label World trade fair is to be even larger this year. Visitors can marvel and peruse new trends, developments and products in freestyle sports on display at over 70 stands as well as take part in activities such as the Public Skateboard Contest on the Miniramp.
At the event's center will be the 28m high snow-covered Big Air Snow Ramp for snowboarders and freeskiers. The popular Kingsize Halfpipe for skateboarders and the FMX Jump with its over 10m wide landing ramp will also take their coveted place in the arena.
Those unable to experience it live, can follow the freestyle action along with millions of others via print media or television in over 180 countries. Support for this event comes from the City of Zurich which understands the value of this positive image transfer and therefore the importance this event has on it's livelihood.
Advanced Tickets now available starting at CHF 16.-
