The O'Neill King of the Park launched the first TTR event of 2006 and by no means the seasons last. Situated in the heart of the Italian Dolomites in the resort of Sappada, the competition was executed by the legendary snowboard family 'The Kratter's'. A tight gathering of both national Italian stars and tour competitors battled out the three-day Slopestyle competition which lasted from 4-6 January.

Two qualification rounds defined the final top eight split for the 10,000 Euro prize money, event title and TTR Tour Ranking points. With the race to TTR World Championships title only three months away, the 3(three) Star Event was vital for additional Tour points. This is how it end up:
