As we are all aware, Dan Wakeham has now retired from the British Snowboard World Cup Team, but keeping to his word, he has remained a strong presence in the UK Snowboard scene.
Along with the recent success of One Snowboarding Camps, Dan is also working for his board sponsor, Head, as the UK Team Manager and sales agent, as-well as holding his spot as an international team rider. Dan stated earlier this season, “I am planning to build and push a strong UK team, which already has young ripper Danny McCormick, FOTP contributor Sean Miller and Stef Nurding”.
Now, Dan and The Head UK Team are pleased to announce their newest rider; 21 year old Jack Shackleton from Newbury, UK. Dan goes on to say “Jack is a member of the British Freestyle Team; he competes in Pipe, Slope-style and big air! Not only is he a solid snowboarder, but he is very well rounded and I am stoked to have him on the team”.
So on behalf of Dan and the rest of the Head UK team, we would like to say, welcome to Jack Shackleton once again.
