Ruedi Herger new owner and CEO of TSG International

Ruedi Herger has taken over the brand TSG, formerly owned by Titus AG. The principal office of the newly founded TSG International AG is based in Zurich, Switzerland. Being the TSG AG's CEO, Ruedi Herger is continuing to look after the brand- and product management, as well as managing the international distributions.

TSG was founded 1988 by Titus Dittmann and became part of Titus AG in 1998. The brand started with the single idea of protection designed by riders that skateboarders actually would want to wear! Being one of the protection gear pioneers in the skateboard business, TSG revolutionized the industry by developing high performance helmets and pads as well as committing to a marketing and sponsorship.

Ruedi Herger took up the position of the brand and product manager for TSG as freelancer in April 2004. His management led to a strengthened branding and an increased extension of the product portfolio. This year TSG launched an innovative travel bag program for skateboarders as well as the very first skateboard helmet featuring molded air channels. He was able to boost the international business by increasing to date the number of then 13 international distributors to 25. Augmenting the variety of products and expanding the bike and snow business, the Swiss was able to increase the demand enormously.
Before pushing TSG, Ruedi Herger was responsible for team management and R&D for the snowboard brand Santa Cruz for more than 10 years. He significantly took active part in expanding the brand globally and conducting Gian Simmen to his Olympic gold medal in 1998.

The key personnel of TSG will remain the same as in the past. Maik Giersch is responsible for the skateboard team management. Nadja Bondarenko-Herger is in charge of Marketing and PR.

TSG target is to demonstrate with product innovations a leading position in the safety gear market, as well as globally pushing the expansion of new product groups and markets.
