Volcom is proud to announce 17-year old Kari Opsal Maeland from Oslo, Norway as the new addition to the European girls team.

Over the last winter (aside from having more fun on the hill than most) Kari holds claim to the following titles:

- World Rookie Fest Champ
- Euro PBRJ Champ, 3rd at the Global PBRJ Champs
- 3rd at the 2008 BEO Junior Slopestyle

Snowboard wizardry aside, it is Kari's high on life attitude and rock n' roll mentality, combined with a charming allure and friendly smile that has her winning everyone over.
