Diaries Downunder Ep 2 - Mt Ruapehu

An active volcano, Mt Ruapehu is smack bang in the centre of New Zealand’s North Island and is home to 2 unique ski areas - Whakapapa and Turoa. With countless rock drops, gullies and side hits, it has some of the best natural terrain in the world and damn it is HUGE!

Being the hub of the North Island ski and snowboarding scene and with the entire crew having learned how to snowboard at Mt Ruapehu, getting back up to explore this place is a mission that they have had their hearts set on for a long time.
In this episode, the crew waste no time in getting out to explore what Mt Ruapehu has to offer and they find an abundance of features that are what dreams are made of.

With the snowboarding talent of Nick Brown, Nick Hyne, Rob Mitchell and Jack Spence on board this episode delivers many examples of why this mission was on the crew’s bucket list.
