Ayumu Hirano and Torah Bright take top spots heading into Friday’s Halfpipe Finals at the LAAX OPEN
40 men and 20 women, with top riders from around the world, took their best to advance into the finals, which will take place on Friday. Only the best 12 men and best 6 women. With a score of 90.50, Japan’s 17-year old superstar Ayumu Hirano was the only one with a score over 90 at world’s biggest halfpipe. Olympic gold medalist Torah Bright from Australia landed in top position at women’s competition after heated battles.
