So our favorite week of the season, the Burton European Open, came around in the middle of January this year and we were ready to piddle our pants from from the excitment. This year was a bit strange with all the Olympic hype causing so many events to be cancelled as brand resources and attention were funneled into getting riders though the Oympic rings at Sochi instead. But Burton didn't let us down and held the BEO for the 15th year in a row! The pros were there, the bros were there, the sun was there, the snow was there, the beers were there, the fondue was there and at the end of the week I found myself asking," Where's my underwear?". The week went by way too fast, which can only be a sign of how much fun we were having or how blackout wasted we got at the parties. Man, if only we could stay at the BEO at Laax forever...
