Big party's, big spins and big hangovers. It's all happening at the hotzone.tv 2014 opening.

Like every year, hotzone.tv Hintertux Opening's Saturday is the highlight of the weekend: Thousands of snowboarders showed up under bluebird weather and ideal snow conditions to rock the Betterpark Hintertux and the test area at the 'Fernerhaus'. The brands were very happy with the interest in new equipment and the number of tested products. The Session of the Dudes went down in the morning on the park's pro line. And even though some of the top riders still sufferend from the parties the night before, it was pros like Werni Stock, Seppe Smits, Rowan Coultas and Benni Mösl, who showed their trick repertoire. Sebbe de Buck (BEL) scored 'best rider' with his consistent style and amplitude. Werni Stock (AUT) showed a flawless switch backside 12, which was awarded the 'best trick'. Rowan Coultas (UK) became 'best rookie' with his mix of style and versatility.

One park lap followed another all afternoon, and riders like Gigi Rüf and Elias Elhardt as well as local heroes like Alex Walch, Tom Klocker, and Mario Wanger were busy breaking their boots in on the slopes and in the park. At 3pm the Aftershred Session started at the Hintertux parking lot, where beats, drinks and the Original Bag Jamp kept the crowd busy.

Afterwards everyone went back to their accomodation to get ready for the highlight of the year: The 10th Anniversary Opening Night at the Hohenhaus Tenne. Like Werni Stock said excitedly: "There's nothing stopping us from a perfect Opening!"
