Over 80 riders from around the shredosphere came to Les Deux Alpes glacier last Friday July 25th to join the ROMP Open Railjam and Boxjam. 500€ prize money which were given away to all those riders who landed sick tricks on the rail.

We could see some familiar faces like Sean Murphy and Meagan Griffin from the USA, Gian Marco Maiocco and Elena Graglia from Italy, Jenia Goldman from Russia, David Yopis from Andorra, Lorenzo Ruiz and Maria Hidalgo from Spain, Boris Mouton from France, Wojtek Pawlusiak from Poland and last year’s best trick winner Menno Van Kicken from Holland. All of them and many others threw down on the railjam with technical and spectacular tricks that set a very high level during the competition.

Right next to the rail, there were two boxes where all the beginner and intermediate riders had the chance to shred and show their best tricks winning lots of ROMP goodies and prizes. The best overall girl was Cristina Fernández and the best rider was Gerard Vázquez.

To finish things up the prize giving and party took place in Smithy’s Tavern where all the lucky winners got to spend their money to celebrate a great day of riding.
