Adidas ID2 Goggle

Last week I shared with you what I thought was the worst thing about snowboarding: receiving calls on the hill. Well, I just remembered the actual true worst thing about snowboarding... Foggy goggles! Everything else comes second.

Nothing is worse than foggy goggles. Riding along with 30% visibility, like God just dropped a blur filter on your life, is so sketch. But like a powder-hungry rabid pitbull, I keep charging down the hill, legally blind, putting my little life on the line. I mean, riding just by feeling is all Zen and whatnot, but when there is no difference between the sky and the ground, i start to feel like I'm falling through a cloud and always eventually flip over the handle bars.

All these goggles like to claim their anti-fogging capabilities. Yea well, tell me why my index finger acts as a pocket windshield wiper every time a little humidity comes around then? I mean, I've tried everything, wearing my goggs loose, that stupid little cham cloth I'm always losing, dog pee, all-absorbant cat litter, prayers, getting blasted by a snow cannon... Seriously though, the only thing that seems to work is putting my goggles in my armpit during the gondola ride up. But then I'm stuck smelling my undeodorized pit stench all day. There has to be a better solution.

Thankfully, Adidas is clearing the fog and hitting us with the answer to this age-old problem. The ID2 is coming through with all types of technology to keep you on the hill even on the whitest of days. The anti-fog layer that accompanies this multi-lensed wonder protects it against the elements and humidity, 2-frame leveling helps fill that gap between the goggle and your skid lid and the Quick Change Lens System lets you change out your lens on even the shortest of lift rides. Most importantly though for the fight against fog is the Climate Cool system, which lets in the cool air while leaving out the humidity and lets out the heat from the oven you're creating on your face gallivanting around the snow.

So you can either keep trying to use spit as your anti-fog solution or you give the R&D and technology of the Adidas ID2 a try and actually see that tree or kicker coming up atcha with the quickness.
