"Death at The Bowly - Death Label goes Holy Bowly"
On the 17th of April, it was time for the 5th edition of Snowboy Productions infamous and celebrated event The Holy Bowly to kick off. This time in Canada and Sunshine Village for the first time ever (and also with invited riders from Death Label snowboards for the first time ever)!
For those of you who have been sleeping under a rock for the last couple of years, The Holy Bowly is not a contest. It's simply a week long dream session with some of the best snowboarders in the world, riding some of the most amazing transitional snow features ever created by man while the world's snowboard media/photographers/filmers are there to cover all the rad shit that goes down.
6 long days with invited riders only shredding the coolest "park" ever made in THE MOST FUN AND REAL of all snowboard events at this time, or to quote Jamie Lynn -"The Holy Bowly session stands for everything that is right in snowboarding." Not to forget all the crazy parties that are arranged every night.
This time when "The Holy Bowl-eh" kicked off in Sunshine Village, Canada, Death Label pro riders PJ Gustafsson (SWE), Tatsuya Nagumo (JPN) and Yuzi Azuma (JPN) had been invited for the first time to take part in the six-day long dream session.
While words can not do justice to how amazing this event and all the features that had been built by Snowboy Productions and Arena Snowparks is, here are a bunch more photos from the Death Label boys at Holy Bowly to feast your eyes on. Enjoy!
Huge thanks to Krush Kulesza, Snowboy Productions, Arena Snowparks, Sunshine Village, Libtech snowboards, Monster Energy and all the riders and other people involved with this year's Holy Bowly! Hope to see you again next year!!
