NOW OPEN! KPark Snowpark in Kühtai with its giant Superpipe

On  the 24th December the slopestyle setup at KPark in Kühtai, Austria opened. Only a few days later, still before the end of the year, the new Superpipe openned as well. Thanks to big efforts of the shaping crew and tons of machine made snow, it was made possible! Pipe expert Jake Ingle came all the way from the USA to build the new Superpipe and to guarantee perfect conditions throughout the whole season.

The new park concept was designed by the Air + Style company. To ensure perfect conditions every day, the Snowpark specialists from Schneestern were in charge of maintenance. The new Superpipe is 160 meters long, 6,5 meters high and with an average width of 21 meters throughout the season. It’s going to be the perfect training facility for the next US Open winner or Olympic medallist.

None other than shape-guru Jake Ingle from the US is in charge of designing the new KPark Superpipe. Jake built the world-famous pipe in Mammoth Mountain, California, and has years of experience in high-end park design. The project’s aim is a comeback to the golden years of pipe riding in the Alps. Due to long-time experiences in events and rider support, the Air + Style company came up with a wide-ranging concept for the KPark. Free Pipe4All Superpipe trainings during the whole season will push kids, amateurs and pro riders to new levels of riding. No matter if they ski or snowboard! The first Pipe4All Superpipe coaching was held on January 6th, 2017 with more to follow.
