So Bataleon made a green board. Sure, most of you are gonna say "look, another company trying to make some green off being green". Well, just stop right there, put your tongue back in your trap and let's be realistic. Calling someone out for striving to be a friend to the earth when we are all burning fossil fuels to get the hill, killing trees to clear trails, riding pieces of plastic that will probably never fully bio-degrade and probably drowning polar bears in the process is kind of hypocritical.
But let's be realistic, for the most part humans are about as easy to change as those drunk text messages you sent last night, especially when it comes to breaking habits that might be construed as extremely pleasurable such as drinking, smoking plants and... let's say, snowboarding. We don't have all the time in the world before we end up swimming in trash and wearing gas masks on our morning jogs. But one step at a time, people.
So, the next new board you get, make sure it's a green board manufactured from recycled materials, start shredding local as often as possible, plant a few trees in the summer and most importantly, think about the stuff you buy and where it came from and where it will end up after. Basically, respect the planet without sacrificing all the triple base pleasures in the world.
Read up on all the tech specs & special features that make this board green and will help polar bears keep fornicating for many years to come.
