Is Bigfoot really out there? Are we talking about something imaginary or real here? At Method we have seen plenty of weird shit over the years go down in snowboarding, so there's not much that surprises us anymore. We have witnessed disabled dwarves committing advanced sexual acts, Travis Rice crying because someone switched his Red Bull hat for a Monster hat and posted the pics on Facebook (not sure what the problem was?), Danny Kass performing stunts with an actual dingo on live television and Gigi being dropped by all his sponsors because he has been dodging contests as if they were chlamydia-ridden, bisexual groupies. Just to name a few...
And yet this winter, topping our weird-shit list is the debatable fact that numerous snowboarders have seen and, in some cases, claim to have been up close and personal with Bigfoot families. Does the Yeti actually exist?
We are sitting on the fence on this one, but there are some companies that don't doubt the authenticity of the sightings and have already started producing hardware for the ape-like creatures. The last Bigfoot sighting was in 1967 and the monster's footprints were 14 1/2 inches long by 6 inches wide. Estimates place Bigfoot at over 7 feet tall and it's reported to have a pungent, unpleasant smell by those who claim to have encountered it.
