Have you ever looked at a pickle? Not only do they smell like old dog dick but they are shaped quite oddly, kinda like the new GNU Park Pickle. The knobby little warts on pickles are good for traction when fishing them out of the bottom of the jar, much like the knobby little Magnetraction warts on the Park Pickle which are optimum for gripping on skin-eating, ass-bruising ice.
GNU didn't really make this board for you indecisive bastards who can't figure out if you want to ride park or powder. The Pickle is for you full-on park junkies, and although the Banana Tech rocker is great for pressing, it should also keep you floating like a boat on those rare, sucky powder days… There is some serious "shrengineering" behind this board, but not all of it is new, GNU used a tried-and-true asymmetrical shape for easy handling. Basically, the sidecut radius is shorter on your heelside to ensure torque when you are carving on your heels, which combined with forgiving Banana rocker makes for an awesome park blade, grippy but loose, snappy but easy to push around.
