The Rip Curl Youngblood Jacket is for all y'all who like to wear your jackets tall. The featured Columbia colorway, with the tie-dye lunar surface print, is interesting to say the least. This loud look is great for popping out in photos and videos, and your buddies won't lose you when you're out there fighting the great white. It's got the waterproofing and breathability cranked up to 10K to keep you dry. For all of you that give a damn about the planet (because you should!), it's made of recylced polyester.
This jacket & colorway is what Victor de Le Rue aka VDLR wears when he pulls out the full aerial assault on the mountains. Many have heard his last name due to his older (and totally psycho!) brother Xavier, but Victor de Le Rue is the young blood in the family and when he gets the de le Rue blood pumping through his veins he rides like a rabid dog.
Victor is a beast, the latest of a long line of mountain people from St. Lary, France, who blessed him with big lungs, strong legs and a giant smile. He sends it to moon and can be often seen going into orbit. That's probably why they used the moon surface print on this jacket in the first place (take a closer look, you'll see the craters). Also, craters are what Victor leaves in his landings when he's double corking or just floating some stinky stalefish into the deep powder sea.
Check out Victor and his Rip Curl teammates fucking shit up something proper in The Gum Movie!
