Different Direction abandoned all forms of proper travel preparations and said fuck it, who needs a schedule when you send it all winter. 

"A concerning lack of snow in Europe meant that we (Sebi Geiger, Simon Pircher, Alex Fischer, Lukas Ellensohn, Sebi Madlener and Theo Acworth) thought it might be nice to go on a very last minute adventure to Japan. Alex had been before but the rest of us hadn't, but from what we'd seen and heard the decision to go was a no brainer. A couple of days later we booked flights, packed our shit and set off with nothing confirmed but a vehicle booking through a non airport based rental company. Luckily everyone we encountered was just so nice that we managed to pretty much improvise the whole trip, and we had a seriously good time. We’d highly recommend you check Japan out."
