The Natural Selection Tour Launch at Jackson Hole

OK, here we go! We are jsut days away from The Natural Selection Tour kicking of at Jackson Hole, Wyoming where the very best male and female all-mountain freestyle riders will go head-to-head to be crowned the ultimate freestyle snowboarder!

It's a compeititon like no other, first thought up back in 2008 with a single Natural Selection event as well as another version in 2013, this is the first time this backcountry freestyle event has been formed into a 3-stop Tour which will start at Jackson, then on to Baldface before concluding in almighty Alaska.

The first even is set to go down over 2 days between the 3-9 Feb, with the days being chosen depending on the weather and snow conditions. By the looks of it they won't be shy of any snow with a ton of snow being stacked up their these past couple of weeks. It's just going to be down to safe conditions and hopefully some sun so we can all clearly watch it live on Red Bull TV.

The Natural Selection Tour is designed with Mother Nature as the main character, and with mutual respect for and from snowboarding,” said Travis Rice. “Women’s snowboarding is progressing so fast and we are thrilled to have both men and women riding in the tour. I’m beyond excited to witness what is possible in snowboarding when riders of this caliber are able to build off of each other’s progress in real time on some of the absolute best riding venues. The opportunity for our team to share it with the world is humbling and a true honor.

Invited riders include Elias Elhardt, Ben Ferguson, Sage Kotsenburg, Nils Mindnich, Mark McMorris, Chris Rasman, Travis Rice, Gigi Rüf, Werni Stock, Victor De La Rue, Blake Paul, Mikkel Bang, Pat Moore, Bode Merrill, Eric Jackson and John Jackson for the guys Jamie Anderson, Robin Van Gyn, Elena Hight, Hana Beaman, Marion Haerty, Anna Gasser, Mary Rand and Zoi Sadowski-Synott for the girls.
