On the 21st August Stylewars launches into its 10th anniversary year with a bang. Renowned as Australia's premier snowboarding event, Stylewars has attracted the world's best snowboarders year after year and this year's event will be no exception. With a prize money increase, an OPEN format (meaning anyone can register to qualify for the event), Slopestyle now being an Olympic sport and a great opening to the Australian Winter things are shaping up nicely for a great 4-days of action, live music and world class snowboarding antics.

This year's competition will showcase a new open format. The event will retain the highly progressive standard of terrain features and world class invited athletes while providing a daily qualification jam session for up and comer's to prove themselves", said Hamish Palmer on behalf of Falls Creek Ski Lifts Co.
ONLINE REGISTRATION will close August 1. All riders need to register for the event so get in early and secure your space; 20 invited riders will be joined by 50 riders eager to qualify. Accommodation, registration and pass deals are available and all event information will be emailed to you during the registration process. Riders wanting to be considered for the start list of 28 Stairs Rail Jam need to email Stylewars on the links below.
The four party nights of this year's event will showcase some of Australia's top Hip Hop acts and DJs.
Sunday: MURPH and PLUTONIC supported by RJMC, Ru.CL, DJ Perplex at The Man.
Monday: VENTS supported by DJ ADFU at The Man
Tuesday: PHRASE supported by DJ Perplex at The Man
Wednesday: 7pm. 28 STAIR RAIL JAM followed by THE DJ KNOWS CREW at The Frying Pan
Stylewars has joined forces with the Australian Junior Series and will be providing the 2 winners of the junior tour FOC entry spaces into Stylewars at the Australian Rookie Tour Event. All of these Slopestyle events are on the TTR World Tour.
