Volcom Peanut Butter Rail Jam

PBRJ is back this winter in Europe with some new stops! This year again, at each stop, top 3 riders of every category and best Girl will qualify for the European PBRJ Championships in Glacier 3000, Gstaad-Les Diablerets, Switzerland on the 18 of April 2009, with free accommodation, sick prizes to win and a chance to get one of the 4 flight tickets to the US champs in Mammoth Mountain (25 000 $ prize purse).

Peanut Butter and Rail Jam is Volcom's amateur snowboard contest series. The goal of the series is to give something back to the kids. Deviating from the established way snowboard contests are run, we put our heads together and came up with a fresh format. Instead of having three rails in a row, we put them side by side to create a rail zone. This boosts the energy level and fun nature of the contest because everyone is together, riding, hiking, and watching in a big group. There are three divisions; 15 & under, 16 & over and Girls. The contest runs in a jam format so there are no scheduled runs. You can hit each of the rails as many times as you want during your 20 minute heat. The judges only care about tricks you pull, so you don't need to worry about falling. The event is absolutely free, on a first come first serve basis, and boasts tons of free prizes and PB&J sandwiches! Also, everyone who enters walks away with some prizes!

See you on the hill!
