Vans 2019 Pat Moore Infuse Boot

Vans continues to uphold it's long-standing partnership with Pat Moore with the release of this years' new Infuse boot model. Hailed as the "world's most customizable snowboard boot" for a reason. The infuse provides ultimate comfort for endless, all-terrain riding and is packed with unlimited adaptability, micro-adjustability and ample support to match Pat's trailblazing snowboard style.

Pat first made his mark on the snowboard street-scene back in the early 2000's and was recognized for his powerful park riding. He quickly transferred this creative urban skill set towards influential, big mountain and backcountry riding and is now acclaimed as one of the best well-rounded snowboarders of all time.

The boot comes ready with the revolutionary Vans Flex Control System including Hybrid Plus Boa with a custom slide-guide enabling optimal closure accuracy and flex variability, packed inside an all-in-one system. Hybrid Plus system expands the flex range with an added Boa pass around the back of the boot and across the in-step in order to optimize lines of pull and maximize flex control capabilities.

The Infuse is packed with heat-mouldable liners, removable asymmetrical X-cages for maximum heel hold, and V3 UltraCush co-molded cork and recycled EVA footbeds for premium support.

As in previous models this years the 2018/19 Infuse rocks the lightweight Ultimate Waffle outsoles for advanced heel dampening, enhanced stability, and optimal traction and control. With an added all-new Vans Heat Retention 360º, a newly improved 360-degree thermal retention layer around the toe box and in between the outsole and liner for all-day warmth.

Removable high-rebound Hytrel tongue stiffeners allow riders to custom-tune the boot. Slide them both in for maximum support or simply use one to increase lateral or medial response, or leave them out entirely for a softer-flexing boot in the park. Add some extra life into the boots as the soften up over the season and rider them for longer.

Ultimately, what this boot comes down to is versatility and durability. Pat advocates that the multiple lacing system and stiffness adjustments allow the boot to easily adapt to any type of rider and terrain.
