VANS x HOWL

It looks like the Vans and Howl teams have never been stronger, or more perfectly aligned for creative expression and damn good snowboarding, all the while providing the snowboarding community with a superb offering of product for the impending winter. Since both companies share a lot of team riders, it makes a lot of sense to work together to create a collab range that their crews would love to wear. So, Vans has partnered with global snow team rider and co-founder of HOWL, for an exclusive HOWL collaboration celebrating Vans snow boots and apparel. Available now, the new Vans and HOWL capsule features elevated renditions of the all-time classic Hi-Standard snowboard boot and Jonesport MTE jacket. Each piece blends HOWL’s sophisticated aesthetic with Vans’ functional snow boot and all-weather MTE technology.

Here are the two main pieces of the collab. That jacket is fresh. But super padded, so you know it'll keep you toasty. Plus it's got that gold collar detail and camo lining. We needn't say more.

HOWL co-founder Darrell Mathes states, “This project was really fun for HOWL since both brands support many of the same athletes, resulting in a product capsule that truly reflects who we are as snowboarders". In fact, just the other day Howl announced that Vans rider Benny Urban was joining the team, which shows just how tight-knit the Vans and Howl camps are. Joining forces has never been a better move. Peep Benny's welcome edit right here or below.

With a shared team roster of professional snowboarders from all over the world, Vans and HOWL family members Darrell Mathes, Jake Kuzyk, Dan Liedahl, and more, have unanimously adopted the Vans Hi-Standard boot as a team favourite, thus making it the perfect style choice for this project. The Vans Hi-Standard is a classic lace-up boot formulated with heat-moldable Flex Liners, V2 UltraCush footbeds and Reverse Waffle outsoles for an uncompromised, reliable fit. A perfect boot for park and street inspired riding with all-mountain and cross-terrain capabilities. In addition to the Hi-Standard boot, the Vans and HOWL capsule collection offers a Jonesport MTE all-weather jacket that is constructed with DuPont Sorona sustainable fill, printed camouflage flannel lining and 1K DWR coating to keep you warm and dry, whether you’re out in the mountains or shredding on the streets.

Co-founders Darrell Mathes and Nima Jalali started HOWL in 2012 with a mission to provide timeless, high-quality and innovative products that fit the needs and wants of snowboarders around the globe. Established by a collective of creative snowboarders, HOWL’s team riders are involved in every aspect of the brand to deliver true, “snow-forward” product. HOWL was created by snowboarders, for snowboarders every step of the way.
